New year rejuvenation by the sea, at Solana San Juan (La Union)

January is beach season for me. Why go in summer when it’s scorching hot and the most crowded, right? Another good reason for me to visit the beach early this year is because my good camping friends Ana and Chino, recently opened a 3 bedroom air bnb (Solana) in San Juan, La Union. La Union is 4hrs. drive North of Manila and is the surfing capital of the North. It’s also popular for its laid-back bohemian lifestyle, good food and vibrant nightlife.
