After a mini-delay, it is time for Session 4 of Project Genesis, an empowerment-based and life awakening program aimed at getting you unstuck from the toxic patterns and relationships that disrupt your happiness, and moving toward a richer, more fulfilling life. I am Dr. Laura Copley, Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Trauma Specialist.

This session kicks off our conversation about toxic relationships. We are starting off today exploring the most common problems experienced by couples. These problems are often seen as normal and acceptable behaviors, but in actuality, they can disrupt our happiness and sense of self-worth.

Project Genesis was developed over the course of a year through interviews, case studies, interventions, explorations, and processing with dozens of individuals, some with stories very similar to yours. It is generally offered as a dynamic and intensive program that involves individual counseling and interpersonal group processing. But now, in order to reach and support more people, I am offering a cliff-notes variation of the program through this channel and my future blog.
