Lincoln Memorial University. Founded in 1897 as a living memorial to President Abraham Lincoln, its mission was simple - to serve the community of Appalachia.

In 2007, the LMU-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine was established to help prepare the next generation of doctors in the Appalachia region and beyond. With the beautiful Cumberland mountains serving as the backdrop, LMU-DCOM is one of the most prominent buildings on the LMU campus in Harrogate, Tennessee.

The Simulation Training Center contains suites designed to look like a hospital’s Emergency, ICU, and Operating Rooms. Simulations include everything from ambient sounds on the hallway speakers to full and partial body manikins.

The Clinical Exam Center has ten patient exam rooms that provide a hands-on instructional environment for the student. The rooms are monitored and recorded to maximize training on an individual basis.

The OPP lab provides a hands-on instructional environment for Osteopathic Manual Medicine training. The room features seven plasma monitors for viewing that provide medical students a clear view of demonstrations from anywhere in the room.

The multipurpose Lecture Halls provide an interactive learning environment for more than 200 students at a time.

With a degree from LMU-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine, students can pursue their careers with confidence, knowing the extensive knowledge and training they received will propel them onward to impactful experiences around the world.
