The Sad Demise of the Scorpion | Busch Gardens Tampa

While the park is not run well, Busch Gardens Tampa has one of the best coaster collections in the country and recently, it announced that its 1980 Schwarzkopf, Scorpion, would be closing in 2024. That's really unfortunate as this is a classic coaster, in the sense that it's a rare model and because this will leave a hole in the park as there's no other coaster like it nearby. Today, experience the final sting of the Scorpion as we discuss its history, legacy and the rather abrupt and unceremonious closure of one of Busch Garden's best rollercoasters.
