John Ward was a leading transport photographer of Sydney and Newcastle government and private buses. Donating his still photo collection to the Sydney City Council, Newcastle University Libraries and the Australian Railway Historical Society he would be pleased to see his bus movie released so soon after his passing on 28 May 2023. Sadly, his first pre-1969 bus movie was lost, stolen from his car along with his projector years ago. This one is full of Albion Venturers, Leyland OPD2, AEC Regents, Leyland TD4 and TD5, a semi-trailer bus and a Hunters Hill Bus Company Reo in Sydney and Newcastle, NSW.
