The new wheelhouse is in position! This week, we have to prepare the ship to start welding the wheelhouse to the deck. The deck from the wheelhouse must be extended, all the remains from the old wheelhouse must be removed with the cutting torch, the deck smoothened out and the welding can begin.

Schooner Tijgerhaai (Tigershark) started life in 1944 as a canadian built tugboat and she has been in my family for almost 50 years. Together with my dad, I am rebuilding this beautiful sailing ship, to make her ready for new adventures!
