I have been adapting my use of Army Painter's Quickshade "dip" from the tin. "Dip" as I apply with a brush. I have recently started to use white spirit to remove the wash from high spots on the models before it has a chance to harden. This can save on applying highlights later to speed up the painting of units and armies.
