#02 General Flying PPL Flight Training at Karachi Aero Club with Cockpit and ATC Audio (4K)

This video focuses on the learning objective of a Private Pilot License: General Flying 2.

The mission was flown to demonstrate Taxing and the Effects of Controls upon reaching the training area at Gharo. The effect of primary control surfaces (Elevator, Aileron, and Rudder) was exercised to understand that roll causes yaw and yaw causes roll, unlike the aileron and rudder, the elevator is the only surface that does not have any secondary effects and only produces the primary effects of pitching the aircraft nose up or down. This was followed by establishing that adding power causes a pitch-up moment with a left yaw. The reduction of power causes a pitch-down moment with a right yaw.

The addition of flaps causes a momentary pitch-up moment followed by a long-term pitch-down moment. The reduction of flaps causes a momentary nose-down moment followed by a long-term nose-up moment. The trim surfaces help relieve all the forces that act on the control surfaces and is required for every configuration change of the aircraft, including changes in flaps, power, pitch attitude, and speed.
