Since its founding in 2018, LIFT Academy has set out to break down barriers of entry into and diversify the cockpit. Being grounded in its mission to create more opportunities for all in aviation, LIFT has been able to cultivate an environment that allows students of all gender, age, background, religion and sexual orientation to successfully complete flight training and begin their aviation careers. Associate Director of Flight Ops and Safety Ed Bagden joins the NGPA crew to talk about the importance of educating students beyond flight training to develop transferable skills and healthy habits that will carry out through careers and elevate our industry as we know it.
