Brazil wildfires: Fires surge 980%, extreme drought expected

Wildfires in Brazil are expanding in the world's largest tropical wetland that's been hit hard by drought.
Satellite data shows a 980% increase in fires in the Pantanal this year.
That's the highest number since 2020 - that was the worst year on record.
