Karachi is set to experience a much-needed break from the recent heatwave with cloudy skies and the possibility of light rain showers this afternoon. According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the return of sea breezes has brought some relief, slightly reducing the heat intensity. However, the increased humidity is causing the temperature to feel 9 degrees higher than it actually is, adding to the discomfort.

The restoration of sea breezes has already led to light rain in various parts of the city yesterday, providing much-needed respite from the heat. This change in weather has been particularly welcomed as this July has recorded three of the hottest nights in Karachi's history, making today's forecasted rain a refreshing and anticipated change.
