I recently purchased a new ZOOM R20 multitrack recorder as a means to upgrade my ZOOM R8 that I've had for over 10 years. In this video I provide my initial thoughts on the unit as I test out some of it's basic capabilities via the color touchscreen. I run that test recording using a short beat from a PO-20 Arcade Pocket Operator.

So far I think it has a lot of potential for convenient, DAW-less multitrack recording with some capacity for editing your content -- all on the unit. I look forward to using the device and seeing what it can really do!
