1. Claim UIF online
I explained how to register as a user, and how to claim benefits on the online platform for the

following types of claims:
unemployment benefits,
illness benefits,
maternity benefits,
adoption benefits
and dependant benefits

2. Claim at a UIF office

Forms required
a. Clear Copy of ID of employee
(ID cards must be front and back on one page)
b. UI2.1 completed and signed by employee
c. Termination notification from employer
d. UI8 completed and signed by employee
e. UI19 completed and signed by employer

3. Use an expert - if all else fails
