Описание к видео Vibration / Jello fix HobbyKing S500 quad rotor.

I had an extra apm kit when HobbyKing released this model. Their claims that the tilted arms provided better descent and the fact that it had rails for a gimbal drew me in. Its been two weeks of on and off working on this quad and I was almost ready to give up due to the vibration/jello in the fpv cam. I had tried everything. Changing prop/motor combinations and camera mounts. I had soft foam under the camera. I had a hard foam with a soft foam. I tried 3S and 4S combinations with 9/10/11 inch props. Two different motor combinations 650kv/950kv. Props were always balanced and the hubs of the props were balanced.

The only combination I got to work decently was the 4S/950KV on 8x4.5 apc props (same combination I use on my QAV400). Then I started paying attention to the rails. I noticed how much they looked like they were vibrating (even though if you touched the copter while in flight there were no significant vibrations). I had even checked the log files in APM which showed no vibration issues. This led me to the conclusion that the pcb base plate must be hitting a frequency and flexing/vibrating. I grabbed a zip tie and looped it through the pcb and around the rails. I also took a foam landing gear part and cut it in half and slid it back jamming it between the pcb and the rail to help absorb any vibration. The camera at this point was directly hot glued to the pcb. This solution worked. My fpv camera cleaned right up. I will 3d print a better hard mount to connect the front of the pcb to the rails at some point. I don't think the foam is major contributor so it needs to be tested with it removed. I think by stabilizing the bottom plate it may also help the slight jello I saw in my gopro/gimbal too. Hope this helps anyone with this frame.

Note: Disregard the low battery warning in the first video as that was on 3S while my warning was setup for 4S. Also my RSSI is invalid as I am currently using a X8R receiver without RSSI hookup instead of my typicall L9R or EzUHF.
