Video shared on social media shows a crowd of hundreds performing a fascist salute at a rally in Rome.

The crowd gathered outside the former headquarters of the Italian Social Movement; a group that later morphed into the Brothers of Italy party, which current premier Meloni has tried to distance herself from amid allegations of fascist links.
