Insights into the autistic mind | The Royal Society

Описание к видео Insights into the autistic mind | The Royal Society

This event is part of the Royal Society's Summer Science Exhibition 2024.

Dr Sarah White takes us on a journey into the autistic mind, bringing together the latest scientific findings with autistic experiences. Autistic people often struggle to understand what's going on inside other people's minds, but perhaps the converse is also true: non-autistic people struggle to see things from an autistic perspective.

Cognitive neuroscience can help us understand how the autistic mind represents information differently - come to hear how this can equip us to make the world an easier place for autistic people to live.

Dr Sarah White is an autism researcher at UCL's Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience and Royal Society Dorothy Hodgkin Research Fellow.

The Royal Society is a Fellowship of many of the world's most eminent scientists and is the oldest scientific academy in continuous existence.
