Merrell MTL Long Sky 2 Matryx review - first run & first impressions. It’s a well known fact that the Merrell Agilty Peak 5 has been one of my favourite trail running shoes over the last year. So when Merrell contacted the channel and asked if we’d like to test out their new MTL LONG SKY 2 MATRYX, I jumped at the chance. They’ve been designed to be a lighter, more responsive alternative to the Agility Peak 5 so I’m really interested to see how they feel and perform on the trails of Cornwall.
