Object Writing: A Secret For Powerful Descriptions.
Even the best writing advice like "be specific" can produce vague writing. Learning to create rich descriptions is one way to quickly improve the quality of your work. But even that suggestion is a bit unclear.

Object writing is an exercise where a writer takes an object and explores all the sense perceptions connected to it. Practising 10 minutes each day can improve your descriptions. It can also stimulate creativity by prompting your mind to consider objects in a visceral manner.
