Ummeed Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to uplifting communities across Maharashtra, Delhi, and Jammu & Kashmir. For over 13 years, we've been at the forefront of positive societal change, impacting the lives of 1.5 million individuals through various initiatives in disability, health, women empowerment, livelihood, and food & hunger.

Ummeed The Hope Special School was established in 2011 with a humble beginning in a small rented room. Today, it stands as a beacon of hope for 456 specially-abled students, offering free education, speech therapy, physiotherapy, vocational training, and more. The school operates from premises generously allotted by the Thane Municipal Corporation for a lifetime, symbolizing our commitment to inclusive education.

Currently, Ummeed The Hope Special School continues to thrive, providing quality education and holistic support to 193 + 56 Rehab Centre special students. Our dedicated educators, therapists, and volunteers work tirelessly to create an inclusive learning environment where every student can unlock their full potential.
