Описание к видео Don Drummond, McCook, Alphonso, Ranglin & others - Mr. Propman

Writing credits to Don Drummond.

This is track #4, Side 2 of the 1962 album "Jazz Jamaica from the Workshop", issued on Port-O-Jam and later on Studio One labels. This album is history - Coxsone Dodd united the best "2nd generation" musicians in the island, including Don Drummond, Roland Alphonso, Ernest Ranglin and, for the first time, Tommy McCook, to record some jazz sessions to celebrate Jamaica's independence. A couple years later, some of these musicians would form The Skatalites and change music forever.

Here's the lineup:

Bass: Lloyd Mason
Drums: Carl McLeod
Tenor Sax: Roland Alphonso and Tommy McCook
Trombone: Don Drummond
Trumpet: Billy Cooke
Piano: Cecil Lloyd
Guitar: Ernest Ranglin

Produced by Coxsone Dodd
Recorded at the Federal Studio, Kingston, Jamaica

Enjoy!
