Teshay Makeda, accompanied by James Shephard on guitar, absolutely blew us away with powerful vocals and tropical rhythm in November's 'Live at Lauderdale House'. We fell in love with this powerful rendition of 'Love The Life You Live' originally by Midnite.

"Teshay Makeda, Empress of Roots Soul, is a divinely gifted South London based singer, songwriter and performer, with a unique musical style that is grounded in her Rastafarian roots. Makeda's hypnotic fusion of Reggae, Soul and RnB, dubbed ’Roots Soul', is a groundbreaking new genre that is kicking up a storm on the music scene.
