Broad City's Amy Poehler, Ilana Glazer & Abbi Jacobson

The comedy Broad City was originally a web series before getting the TV treatment for Comedy Central. The show, about two women in their 20s living in New York City, was created by and stars Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson, both of whom are alumni of the Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB) improv and sketch comedy group. Amy Poehler, a founding member of UCB, serves as executive producer.

World Screen's Anna Carugati recently sat down with Poehler, Glazer and Jacobson to discuss the comedy, which has been renewed for a ten-episode second season. In this video interview, the ladies talk about the need for female voices in comedy and the power of the Internet in helping shows break through.
