LEAP 2019 Dance Festival: Trailer

In our 26th year of programming dance for Liverpool and North West enthusiasts, we’ll be taking over venues across the city, and bringing dance to new audiences. Taking a lead from our new Director Martina Murphy, LEAP will feature sited and staged work along Hope Street and in major venues including Hinterlands, Invisible Wind Factory, Unity Theatre and the Bluecoat.

Launching on Thursday 3 October, this year's programme is a diverse mix of dance, comedy, acrobatics and more, with artist talks and a brand new Fringe offer to accompany the main programme.

Featuring: Motionhouse, New Art Club, Seke Chimutengwende & Alexandrina Hemsley, Rosie Kay Dance Company, Neon Dance, Thick & Tight and Frances Disley.

The festival will also include performances from our own companies Merseyside Youth Dance Company, and 50 Moves as part of our Community Dance Platform, and NW artists Sole Rebel Tap, Matthew Rawcliffe, Lucy Starkey and Lisi Perry.
