Steve McQueen & Ali MacGraw | Iconic Couples of Hollywood

Описание к видео Steve McQueen & Ali MacGraw | Iconic Couples of Hollywood

Ali MacGraw started her career as a model and soon became the face of Chanel No. 5. At the time she met McQueen she was married to Robert Evans, the head of Paramount, and had scored a massive box office hit with "Love Story".

McQueen was married to Neile Adams, the mother of his two children, who put up with his notorious infidelities. He was considered a superstar because of his films like "Broken Chains", "The Magnificent Seven" and "Bullitt".

MacGraw and McQueen met during the filming of Sam Peckinpah's movie "Getaway" and fell in love at first sight. The only film they ever made together is full of eroticism. When they became a couple, he insisted that she should stay at home and give up her career. He got her to abuse drugs and alcohol, and violent scenes ensued before he rather suddenly threw her out the door. She barely got the time to pack her things - in the end she had lived her personal "Love Story".
