THE WILLOWS feat. MC INDOE TRACK a family Friendly trail in Selwyn, Christchurch - EASY!

NEW to Mountain biking but is bored of Hagley park, Mc Leans Island and Bottle Lake track well, this one is good for you.

Its a bit of a drive but the views and serenity if totally worth it all.

A recreation and green space right next to the Waimakariri River.

Starting point: Follow Thompsons Road to a car parking area
The Willows is a recreational area near West Melton on the banks of the Waimakriri River hosting a shared walking and biking track, picnic and parking areas, fishing points, a motorhome camping area and native planting.

The flat, gravelled track is a good one for children and has plenty of side off shoots if you wish to go off-track to explore the riverside area.
