Ruby Storm Gets Better with Blue Cards! | MODERN | MTG

Modern Horizons 3 has made brewing with Ruby Storm so much fun! In this iteration, we're adding blue cards to our deck to actually be considered Temur now! Baral, Chief of Compliance is a throwback to Gifts Storm while Flame of Anor is just a very flexible card that helps with all of the Storm hate. Bloomburrow has also provided us with additional card like Into The Flood the Maw in the side and the new otter Ral, Crackling Wit for another win con. This deck has been a thing for a while, but now Ruby Medallion is legal in Modern and with it comes a new Storm deck! Not only Ruby Medallion makes this deck work, but also Ral, Monsoon Mage. Ral is one of the new flip Planewalkers that is absolutely broken in this deck. Using these two cards as cost reducers for our spells, we eventually get to flip Ral from his creature side to his Planeswalkers side, cast his ultimate, and win the game from there very easily! This deck is a blast to play and can even manage to get turn 2 kills if you're lucky enough (usually turn 3 is the norm)!
