I knew this day would come but seeing actually come to light is unreal.

By far the longest and hardest grind I have ever done, I started this 3 years ago, a I did drop it for half of that time for various reasons, but mainly because I was not ready for this level, the shear difficulty is like nothing I have ever done, so when I came back and beat this in 10 days, I am still having trouble processing that I did this.

After I beat Sunset Sandstorm nearly 4 years ago, I tried doing so many level's as new hardests, many of which I uploaded progress for, but for every one of them I had a big problem, my mentality going for these levels was very weak. I couldn't stand getting annoyed and dropped these so frequently, because of this I only had the willpower to beat levels I didn't struggle much on or levels I thought were fun, it is why I never showed my true skills in this game for so long, but a lot of that changed when I found RUST.

I originally saw the previews of it and was always excited for this level to be released. My friend ‪@GDTril‬ (aka ‪@gdtrilogy9060‬) started this because it was an awesome level, and I tried to do the level in 4 segments because it was fun, and I did that in 5 days, it was hard and I moved on to other levels. When those all failed I came to this after he had dropped it and quickly became addicted because I really love this level.

This started off really really fun to grind, but I couldn't progress at all a few months in, it just became me bashing my head against a wall until some random runs happened and I know for a fact if I didn't drop this it would've taken me well over 100k attempts, so after 63k attempts I dropped it, I tried coming back twice but this still felt so out of my reach and I quickly dropped it again, this had always been looming over my head, a reminder that I wasn't worthy enough, pouring so much just to be left with a level that I felt I could never do. As far as doing hard stuff, this was one of the main reasons I never did many new hardests, and when I did it was something ever so harder than what I did previously, and this is one of the main reasons I quit this game for over a year.

I ended up playing Celeste for a lot of that and the things I did there were miles harder than anything I did in gd at the time, so when I got burnt out there I came back to gd.

When I came back. I. POPPED. OFF. I beat Erebus (a new hardest) in 8 days, Omega (another new hardest) like a month later, and other crazy levels in short times. But I still didn't feel ready to tackle this because of my experience, so I prepared by beating Violet Illusions and went in and hoped for the best.

To say I outdid my expectations would be the understatement of the century. On day 1 I ended up doing 41-100, 18-82, and 35% (my 2nd best from when I dropped it), which broke my mind. Day 2 I got 35-100 (my best run to 100) and got past my previous best of 42% with 52%. I got a few more runs to 52% after that. Day 6 I got 31-100, then 18-100, 52% again, a 63% new best, and made it to the ending with 74%. Day 7 I got 74% again. Day 8 I got 78% as my first attempt past 12% that day. And on Day 10, I got 98%, that was my 4th ending attempt and I threw what could've been a massive fluke from 78%. After what happened with Violet Illusions I thought I would be stuck on this for another month, I felt like I had just thrown my one chance out the window and I was very frustrated, but I beat Acu the same day I got 98 so I kept playing. For 40 minutes I got basically nowhere, I was losing hope by the second and then I got to the end again, I instantly started thinking how I was far so I shut off my brain and just played, and I kept going, and going, and then I just did it.

I got really lucky on this, I outperformed what I thought I was capable of and you will see a lot more from me soon. Cya :3
