I’ve worked in the animation industry before—but I never actually animated anything myself.

After nearly 20 years, I finally decided to give it a go. This is the story of how I went from factory jobs and failed trials to finishing my very first real animation at 48 years old.

Along the way, I revisited old projects, rediscovered storyboards I never finished, and finally brought one of them to life: Incompetent Elytra Pilot.
