My jam begins with a celestial motif then morphs into an aggressive drum and bass grove. After further sonic experimentation, the celestial motif is reprised in full ensemble before the jam fades to serenity. It was recorded in one take with mistakes, mixing imbalances, hesitations, doubts, and successes.

Hardware Jams is a Facebook community and YouTube channel dedicated to creating and sharing music made with hardware synthesizers and drum machines. Each weekend there is a live jam challenge based on a theme, and members of the community participate by creating their own five-minute jam in the span of the weekend, which is recorded in one take with no overdubs (as if performing live) then shared and streamed every Monday evening.

Hardware Jams holds an annual festival every July/August where the community records a 15-minute jam of their choice of genre. I've bookmarked my jam from the Festival which was streamed on Friday. It was recorded in one take with mistakes, mixing imbalances, hesitations, doubts, and successes.
