FANUC America Authorized System Integrator Clear Automation developed this extremely intuitive and fully automated bottle pallet unloader - utilizing robotic automation from FANUC to quickly and accurately unload glass bottles from pallets. The system starts there, as an operator loads a pallet full of glass bottles into the system. Once the pallet is in place, a machine proceeds to raise the pallet, and the top slip-sheet is automatically removed. Layers of bottles are moved onto a conveyor and moved along the system. Once the first layer of bottles is near completion, the next slip-sheet is removed, and the next layer of products is moved onto the conveyor. This process repeats until all layers are on the conveyor.

Next, individual bottles move down the system to an awaiting FANUC LR Mate 200iD Robot. The compact, six-axis FANUC LR Mate robot is a popular choice among manufacturers and integrators that require a fast, accurate and compact pick and place robotic solution. The FANUC LR Mate robot rapidly picks the bottles four-at-a-time and accurately places them into pucks for filling. This operator-friendly system allows for quick changeover of parts, as the system can unload bottles in various shapes and sizes off of pallets that have been designed to feed the machine, adding great versatility to the system’s capabilities. Once a full pallet has been unloaded, the stack of slip-sheets exits the machine with the empty pallet.
