One of the main differences between the HydroBlade and a typical efoil is that the rider is in control. And one of the primary components of that feature is the throttle. The throttle is located on the handlebars, making it a comfortable experience for riders. The harder you push down on the throttle, the faster the HydroBlade accelerates. The throttle is very powerful, as the HydroBlade reaches a top speed of 43.5 mph.
