Fern makes adult content for a platform called MakeLoveNotPorn, a platform that offers real-life sex videos rather than the scripted performances of traditional adult entertainment content.

When I was first introduced to Fern, I was surprised to learn that she had vaginismus. It is such a common stereotype that people in the adult film industry must have perfectly receptive bodies, free from any sexual difficulties. We forget that they are also real people, with real bodies and often very real struggles.

What fascinated me even more was that Fern’s vaginismus was central to her presence on camera, this was her focus on camera.
