Here is a video from when Nathan and I completed a grueling hike / climb on the southwest cliffs of Elk Mountain in the Wichita Mountains. This was 95% off-trail and class-four to five scrambling in very rugged terrain. We ascended the 2,254-foot Elk mountain via the north trail. Once on the summit, we descended through the rough Crapshoot Canyon before coming back up via the next major draw to the top of Elk Mountain again and then descending one more time via the water-filled Rock Rooms and down Treasure Cove. We made a giant loop, coming around Echo Dome and back to Sunset.
