3 years ago I was sitting in my math class after taking a standardized test and I started writing out the first draft of this album. I went home and started writing the songs. Days turned into years of doing this everyday. I found out a lot about myself in this time. The most important one being that music was something that I would be doing for the rest of my life. Instead of putting my savings into going to college I decided to put it into traveling to create this album and build my career. And I have never been more thankful and sure of a decision I’ve made in my entire life . The feeling I have towards music is something I can’t begin to describe . It’s magic. The 2nd most important (but very very close to first still lmao) was that life changes very fast , fast enough that instead of recording the version I had been working on for 3 years. I would be recording a collection of songs that I wrote in a span of 3 months . This project capsulated a very specific but very impactful time in my life. I wrote these songs alone in my bedroom not expecting anyone to ever hear them but simply to survive what I was going through at the time. These are more than just songs to me, they were my biggest support system. And I hope they can be that for you as well🤍 Here are some things I’ve been meaning to say. ANDDD the start of a long journey:)
