☆ How to ☆ Stihl MS192T / MS193T timing advance and muffler mod

First things first, you need to be competent in tuning your chainsaw or know someone that can properly tune it for you before you make these modifications. You also need to know if your saw has a fully adjustable carburetor.(low AND high speed jets) If not, there's no point in making these modifications until you do, as you won't be able to properly tune it.

I've had a lot of questions lately about how to get more out of these little saws. In my eyes porting a saw takes extensive research and first hand experience. Not something that can be taught in one simple video, over the phone, or through e-mail. However, a lot of saws, especially these smaller saws ms192, ms193, ms201,ms170, ms180, etc. benefit from these two simple modifications. They are simple to do and yield great gains for time invested.
