Despite warnings from their parents two young girls venture out into the bush to see the spirits for themselves. Swallowed by the jungle they face life-threatening forces and wild animals. They return with a respect for tradition and the natural world around them.
A young Belizean girl wrote the basic story. She and her family also act in the film. JUNGLE SPIRITS was produced in the rain forest of Belize, Central America, using solar power.
