Moldova has experienced important changes in its public procurement system in the recent years. To prioritise efforts for reform, by identifying strengths and weaknesses of the system, a complete MAPS assessment was carried out by the World Bank, in coordination with the country authorities led by the Ministry of Finance. This event presented the main findings and recommendations of the assessment, as well as the next steps that the country will undertake to improve its public procurement.
