IFLS Live at AMNH

On Wednesday, August 28, 2013, the American Museum of Natural History and Elise Andrew, founder of I F***ing Love Science, hosted the ultimate science event.

Annalee Newitz of io9 moderated a discussion on communicating science with Elise Andrew of IFLS, Gregory Brown and Mitchell Moffit of AsapSCIENCE, Maria Popova of Brain Pickings, and Emily Graslie of The Brain Scoop.

Museum curators Mark Siddall, Mordecai-Mark Mac Low, and Director of Astrovisualization Carter Emmart gave sneak peeks of some of the exciting projects coming to the Museum in Fall 2013. Director of the Hayden Planetarium Neil deGrasse Tyson made a surprise appearance with a clip from Cosmos, his upcoming reboot of the classic Carl Sagan TV series.
