Leader of the Espelho da Vida Village in the Huni Kuin Indigenous
Land of the Humaitá River, trained as an Agroforestry Agent and one
of the main promoters of the rescue of the HuniKuin culture.
When he started his studies in Rio Branco with the CPI and had the
opportunity to travel and meet people of other ethnicities, he
realized that his people had left their customs and tradition aside, it
was then that he started working with the elders to revive his culture
and rescuing his ancestor knowledge. He began the process of
encouraging the practice of his Huni Kuin customs within his own
family, such as the use of Rapé, the Nixi Pae ceremony, the
Katxanawa Dance, the paintings bodywork and traditional singing,
until bringing the novelty of inserting the modern instrument, the
guitar, with the traditional chant, it was then when the first Huní Kuin
Pasha Dume prayer was played on the guitar.

Since then, he has continued performing ceremonies with forest
medicines outside his village for more than 13 years and considers
himself an eternal apprentice of the healing plants and the sacred
chants of his people, creator of the Hiwea Kiri Beisiti Center and
organizer of the Yuxibu Nuku Experience Shushawati.
