How To Record Automation In FL Studio The EASY Way! (Complete Beginner tutorial)

In this FL Studio beginner tutorial, you will learn how to record automation in FL Studio. Recording automation is often easier than simply drawing it in an automation clip. When you record automation in FL Studio, it will show up as an event. There are two kinds of automation in FL Studio: Events and automation clips. You probably already know that you can make automation by clicking in the points in an automation clip, but you can also record automation live. This can be very useful when you want to record that human touch, and can often give far better results then manually plotting it in. This tutorial will show you how to do just that, using your external midi gear.
It is not possible to record directly into an automation clip in FL Studio, but it is possible to record an event, and then converting it to an automation clip afterwards. In this video, I will show you how to do that as well.
