Here is a casual video of me just sharing some thoughts on trying out a tuning for the mandolin that is not often used by most people. Just thought it might be fun as a new mental play toy especially in these days of 2020 when musicians are looking to stay inspired even when playing alone. Alternate tunings can be a fun way to find fresh inspiration sometimes. :)
From low to high sounding strings (working from the strings closest to the ceiling toward the ones closest to the floor) we will have-
