IVES 481 Chain Door Guard

This video is to bring you a closer look at the IVES 481 Chain Door Guard
It consists of three pieces:
The door piece, the part that mounts to the face of the jam with the chain, and brass screws
This is the polished brass version
IVES recommends that the door guard is installed 52" above the floor
They also recommend that the distance between the frame plate and the door plate is not more than a 1/2"
If your gap is to large you won't be able to extend the chain
A very common item used for residential applications
