Best Of Cannes Film Festival 2024: The Olympic flame arrives to the Cannes Film Festival

Cannes Film Festival heated up on Tuesday (May 21) as the Olympic flame arrived at the red carpet. Tony Estanguet, Marie-José Pérec, Thierry Rey, Iliana Rupert, Marie Patouillet, Nélia Barbosa, Alexis Hanquiquant, Christine Caron, Brahim Asloum and Paralympic champion carried the torch down the red carpet and up the famous steps of the Palais des Festivals. The athletes and sports personalities were on hand to view Mickaël Gamrasni’s documentary “Olympiques!” The film features various Olympic and Paralympic champions who tell their stories and detail France’s Olympic history, from the creation of the Games in 1896 to recent happenings.
