Moen Works Intercooled Rotary Carbide Platen: Info/demo video

Please note that this is not a review, this is a demo/informational video I made for Jerry to use on a loop at his booth at BLADE. There is only a little bit of audio commentary. After seeing the specs and features, you will witness Todd Begg grind a raw blank to a fully mirrored finished blade on this platen... something that cannot be done on any standard steel platen. At the end there is a recap of features as well as information on which grinders this attachment is made to fit as of the launch.

Designed by Jerry Moen, and redesigned & manufactured by Randy Phillips of Hardcore Products, this is a game changer for knifemakers. The quality is as impressive as the concept.

Days after making this, my platen was ready. Mine is the first "delivered" platen, and I've already begun using it. It replaces the prototype that I've had for 6 months, and works even better than the proto water-cooled platen. It's running 20 degrees cooler, and everything about it is more user friendly. I will be uploading future videos of mine in action.
