I’ve gained so much clarity and peace after I understood this logic behind my adult acne lol. I mean it makes sense, I guess I just wasn’t super mindful or aware about these micro actions in my day to day that made a long term impact on my gut nervous system and mental (all connected).

Here’s the life audit checklist for my girlies who feel like they’ve tried everything and still can’t figure out their adult acne:

1. Diet — you might be eating healthy but is it healthy for YOU specifically? Ie. I used to drink smoothies and eat raw salads and now I follow TCM practices (sits better with my digestion which makes sense cause I have asian genetics)

2. Micro habits around eating — do you properly chew? Do you look at your food when you eat? Are you eating distracted? Are you rushing to eat? Are you quickly going back to work after eating? Do you eat at consistent meal times?

3. Drinks — caffeine on empty stomach? Are you having lots of iced cold drinks? Are you incorporating the right herbs in your teas for your body? Are you supplementing with electrolytes?

4. Supplements — in our modern society, our food sources don’t give us the best minerals and nutrients (even if it’s “organic”). get some blood work done to figure out deficiencies

5. Sleep — are you actually getting enough sleep? Not 6-7, you might need 7-8. Do you properly wind down? Do you breathe deeply before bed? Do you mouth tape or clench your jaw?

6. Relationships — are you happy with the people in your life? Is anyone draining your energy? Is there negative vibes from any friends that need to be addressed?

7. Purpose/career/life — how are you filling this bucket right now? Is it draining you or energizing you? Are you doing something aligned with what you enjoy or care about?

8. Finances — are you taking care of yourself in this regard? Do you have scarcity mindset? Do you have anxiety about the future?

9. Day to day life — do you shallow breathe? Do you stretch? Do you incorporate breathing consciously? Do you exercise? Do you see the sun? Do you touch grass? Do you laugh? Do you play and be silly?

This is a good starting point to get the ball rolling and reflecting with yourself ❤️
