Mandi Bahauddin: In the suburban village of Head Faqirian Stop, justice still remains elusive for the family of Yar Ahmed Ranjha, who was murdered eight months ago.

According to the bereaved family, despite the passage of several months, the police have neither included them in the investigation nor brought the case to any meaningful conclusion that could allow them to pursue justice through other legal platforms. Instead, the police have allegedly turned the tables by accusing the victim’s relatives of attacking law enforcement, a claim the family strongly denies.

The heirs allege that the murder of their renowned family member, Yar Ahmed Ranjha, was carried out deliberately by the police under the influence of their rivals. They state that although the District Police Officer (DPO) of Mandi Bahauddin visited the crime scene and an FIR was subsequently registered, no progress has been made since then.

The family claims that the police have neither contacted them, nor submitted the challan in court, nor arrested the nominated suspects. They demand immediate justice and accountability for those involved.
