With rapid more than grade three and lush yet breathtaking forest at every turn, Subansiri river is one of the best places in India for white water rafting. Subansiri, or “Gold River” is the biggest tributary of the Upper Brahmaputra. It is originated from Tibetan Himalayas and makes its way to India via Arunachal Pradesh. It is three miles long, and with tributaries such as the Sie and Kamla Rivers, it is one of the largest tributaries of the Brahmaputra River. The lowers half of the river is a delight for the anglers as here one can find fishes such Trout, Golden Masher, and the Goonj. For almost 150 kilometers, the river has extremely fast rapids. There's no sight of roads but miles and miles of vertical rock, which makes it even more fascinating
