360° VIEWS and 10 miles of Hiking in 7 hours 🥵 | Mount Moriah NH

Peak 5 of 48 on our NH 4000 footer journey is Mt. Moriah, via the Stony Brook and Carter-Moriah Trails!

After the previous two, totally enclosed summits of Cabot and Waumbek, we needed to switch it up a bit…and Moriah didn’t disappoint. Although the 10 mile round trip felt wayyyyy too long, the Stony Brook Trail wasn’t incredibly strenuous, and coming up the southern open ledges of Moriah was well worth it.

If you’re looking for a beautiful day hike that isn’t devastatingly exhausting in the White Mountains, which offers spectacular views and plenty of open ledges to enjoy a nice lunch, this 4000 footer should be on the top of your list of hikes to do!
