UP Big Boy 4-8-8-4

Here's another sampler Video of The UP Heartland of America Tour, this one from from September 16, 2024. After a Sunday layover in N Little Rock, the Big Boy was on the move again, first re-tracing her steps from N Little Rock to Pine Bluff, AR before heading south from Pine Bluff on its way to Texarkana.

I saw this location two days prior and liked the curve on the approach for a train coming this direction, so I revisited it. For this first time in my six day odyssey I was completely alone at a shooting location!

I have fallen behind on getting more stuff uploaded, both samplers and Full Day Edits because I was preparing for and then going on a 4 day adventure in Eastern Indiana and Southern Michigan, where I saw the Whitewater River Railway operations as well as 2 days of chasing the NKP 2-8-4 #765 along with a extra special bonus appearance by Little River Railroad 4-6-2 #110 pulling a short excursion train!
