Easy Steps to Make Drop Down List in Excel

This video shows the easy steps to make a drop down list on an Excel worksheet.

1. Make a list of times, such as weekday names

2. Format the list as an Excel table

3. Create a name for the list of items

4. Make the drop down list

The drop down list is created with Data Validation, in just a couple of clicks.

The drop down list makes data entry easy. Also, it helps prevent errors, because you choose from the drop down list, instead of typing.
